About Footpath Maintenance

As part of our ongoing footpath maintenance program, your area may be identified as requiring either a new footpath or works to fix various defects and safety concerns on footpaths, kerbs and channels. This work will involve concreting and flattening a current surface or removing and recasting a new footpath.

What is footpath maintenance?

Footpath works are where we identify broken footpaths, kerbs, gutters and deteriorating concrete, or trip hazards and re-concrete the surface and fix any defects.

What should I expect during the work?

Our repairs include machinery which unfortunately can create noise, vibration, and concrete dust. Please bear with us during our operations and ensure your cars are parked clear of the road. If you do encounter concrete on your vehicle, please wash it off by the end of the day.

How can I keep myself and my belongings safe during this time?

Access to driveways may be temporarily affected due to the operations being undertaken. Please cooperate with our traffic control staff when needing access in and out of your property and be careful of trip hazards and setting concrete.
