What’s happening in Papamoa?
Tauranga City Council has contracted Fulton Hogan Ltd to carry out repairs and maintenance in Papamoa.
This work is part of the Council’s annual programme, improving road safety and investing in our roading assets, including footpaths.
Our work is very weather dependant so dates may change due to the weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Our roadworks include heavy machinery which unfortunately can create noise, vibration and types of environmental factors (including cement dust for example).
BEACHLANDS PLACE Cul-de-sac Asphalt Resurfacing and Mill and Fill Repairs

Type of Works: Asphalt Resurfacing and Mill and FIll Repairs
Fulton Hogan Ltd, contracted by Tauranga City Council, is resurfacing the cul-de-sac head in your area as part of Council’s annual maintenance programme. We resurface our roads to prevent water damaging the layers underneath and potholes forming. Maintaining our roads means we can all move around our city easily and safely.
Mill and fill repairs are where the deteriorated layers of pavement are removed and patched over with asphalt.
Additional Information:
The affected areas are highlighted. Beachlands Place will be closed and there will be stop/go traffic management operating on Pacific View Road. You will continue to have access to and from your property while the asphalt operation is in progress.
Please allow a little extra time and speak with the on‑site Traffic Management team, who will guide you safely through the site. Please note that if the works are directly in your path, there may be a brief delay.
CALYPSO DRIVE Kerb and Channel Repairs

Type of Works: Kerb and Channel Repairs
Fulton Hogan Ltd will be undertaking a kerb and channel repair on Calypso Drive.
This includes repairing the damaged kerb and channel. There will be minimal disruption to residents.

The affected area is highlighted and will be operating under a footpath closure and a shoulder closure. You will continue to have access to and from your property while the maintenance operation is in progress.

WEBB PLACE Cul-de-sac Asphalt Resurfacing and Mill and Fill Repairs

DICKSON ROAD Maintenance Repairs
Status: COMPLETED
Date of Works: MONDAY 13TH AND TUESDAY 14TH JULY 2026
Type of Works: Maintenance Repairs
Fulton Hogan Ltd will be undertaking maintenance repairs on Dickson Road.
This work will be done during the day and will include removing and replacing damaged timber from the retaining wall. Works will also include repairs to a small section of damaged footpath.

The affected areas are highlighted and will be operating under a footpath closure and shoulder closure. You will continue to have access to and from your property while the maintenance operation is in progress.

During the curing process, it’s essential that no traffic passes over the freshly poured concrete. The footpath will open again on Monday 19th July 2026.
