What’s happening in Tauranga?

Tauranga City Council has contracted Fulton Hogan Ltd to carry out repairs and maintenance in Tauranga City.

This work is part of the Council’s annual programme, improving road safety and investing in our roading assets, including footpaths.

Our work is very weather dependant so dates may change due to the weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Our roadworks include heavy machinery which unfortunately can create noise, vibration and types of environmental factors (including cement dust for example).

SOVEREIGN DRIVE Sweeping

Status: ACTIVE

Date of Works: WEDNESDAY 23RD SEPTEMBER 2026

Type of Works: Sweeping

Fulton Hogan will be carrying out post-seal road sweeping on Sovereign Drive to remove excess loose chip. 

Please note: some loose chip is expected as this is a normal part of the sealing and embedding process, which occurs over time and is aided by vehicle traffic.

MONTEGO DRIVE Sweeping
